Social media and whatnot is fun and all that. We would certainly not have it any other way. But it’s time to talk about something that’s been bugging us for a while: The people we care about (♥) often share stuff we don’t care about : (
There, we said it. It had to be done.
So, we decided to do something about it. A call to action, a massive uprising, a protest fueled by the depths of the most basic human need to fulfill their dreams and build self-purpose. Yeah, that’s right, we made a Twitter application.
OMG, WHAT DOES IT DO?
It lets you free yourself from words, phrases, third party services and people you’d rather be without.
WTF, HOW DOES IT DO IT?
Through a tangy tasting code two very talented programmers, Elin Leckström-Schmidt and Kim Persson put together. Seriously though, it’s a textfilter. It removes tweets that match your filter.
LOL, WHEN CAN I SEE IT?
Right now. Visit www.gtfoomtf.com and start filtering out irrelevant stuff. Like #GTFOOMTF for instance.
Too long; didn’t read-version:
- Social media is filled with irrelevant stuff.
- Filter it out with our shiny new gadget, GTFO of My Twitter Feed.
- Example: Get rid of irrelevant words, phrases, automated posts and people.
- We want this to become standard, like e-mail rules. Simple and effective.
- Don’t sleep on this. Don’t even ponder. Go. Experience bliss! In our lifetime!
