Before Emma Ångström’s debut novel reached the bookstores, we released it as a micro novel.

And everything is distorted is a psychological novel about the jealousy and the power struggles that characterize a destructive relationship.

In the micro edition, the relationship between the novel’s main characters, Mina and Erik, deepens. Parallel to the novel’s storyline, the reader could follow Mina’s and Erik’s feelings, as they published over 1500 Tweets during one whole year.

The micro novel could be read on the cellphone,
on the computer, along with the hard copy, or separately. The aim was to explore new methods of narration, plattforms for storytelling as well as reaching more and new readers and at the same time gain awareness.
